Customer Project Manager

About the role

TOMRA Food is seeking a Customer Project Manager to lead the delivery of advanced sorting and processing solutions for its largest customers. You will oversee projects from the quotation stage through to on‑site commissioning, ensuring high quality, safety and customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end projects, including quotation, budgeting, installation and commissioning.
• Support the sales team with accurate cost estimates and risk identification.
• Develop equipment, process and product expertise to guide customers toward optimal solutions.
• Communicate customer design standards to the project design team and ensure execution.
• Maintain relationships with third‑party vendors and assist in supplier negotiations.
• Control project budgets, change orders and schedule coordination with operations and logistics.
• Align projects with organisational goals and conduct regular on‑site customer visits.
• Facilitate handover to the Service Organisation after project completion.
• Apply health and safety management responsibilities throughout the project lifecycle.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing complex industrial projects from quotation to commissioning.
• Strong understanding of budgeting, change‑order management and schedule coordination.
• Ability to work closely with sales, engineering, logistics and external vendors.
• Customer‑focused mindset with excellent communication skills.
