Customer Service Representative – Cairo

About the role

IFF is seeking a Customer Service Representative to join its team in 6th of October City, Cairo. You will act as a key communication link between customers, sales staff, and internal stakeholders, ensuring smooth order processing and high‑level service.

Key responsibilities

• Enter, confirm, invoice and follow up on domestic, export and consignment orders in compliance with SOX policies.
• Maintain on‑time performance targets and update Late Order Reports for delayed shipments.
• Coordinate customer complaints and escalations, ensuring timely resolution.
• Respond to customer inquiries accurately and build strong relationships with internal teams and external partners.
• Oversee daily delivery follow‑up with 3PL/4PL providers and support logistics operations.
• Manage disputes, credit/debit notes and returns through approved workflows.
• Ensure compliance with internal and external audit requirements (FSSC 22000, SOX, regulations).

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Business, Foreign Trade or related fields.
• 2–3 years of experience in customer service or supply‑chain environments.
• Fluency in business French and English.
• Ability to work in a cross‑cultural setting.

Required skills

• Proficiency in SAP.
• Advanced use of MS Office tools.
• Knowledge of Incoterms and international payment terms.
• Familiarity with Letter of Credit (LC) processes.
