About the role
We are looking for an enthusiastic Customer Service Representative who enjoys talking to people and turning issues into positive experiences. You will act as the first point of contact for our customers, guiding them through shipment processes and ensuring smooth clearance procedures.
Key responsibilities
- Answer inbound customer calls and respond to inquiries promptly.
- Conduct the initial call to obtain clearance instructions and gather necessary shipment details.
- Open trace records from the day of arrival, providing clear shipment status and Egyptian regulatory information.
- Manage amendments to shipments, including changes to consignee names and handling FedEx clearance pending or stopped shipments.
- Process paperwork submitted by customers and ensure compliance.
- Follow up on re‑export shipments, secure approvals from shippers or consignees, and coordinate with subcontractors until the shipment leaves the cage.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Very good command of English.
- At least one year of experience in customer service.
