Cyber Risk Manager

About the role

PwC's Enterprise Risk Management practice, within its Risk and Compliance services, is hiring a Cyber Risk Manager in Cairo. The role leads a team advising industrial clients on governance, risk and compliance (GRC) topics, and works with a global mindset alongside colleagues in the UK, Germany and other Middle Eastern countries. It sits within the new Technology and Innovation Centre in Cairo, which offers services such as SAP and Oracle, cybersecurity, data analytics, custom development and cloud services.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and guide the team on key issues and contribute significantly to project success
• Advise leading industrial companies on GRC topics
• Support cyber security assessments and audits against industry frameworks and controls, including regulatory compliance, Third Party Risk Management (TPRM) and program maturity assessments, and benchmark results against industry standards
• Take part in developing, reviewing and maintaining cyber security policies, standards and procedures

Required profile

• At least 6 years of relevant work experience
• Experience in consulting or in multinational environments
• University degree, preferably in computer science, business informatics, business administration, mathematics or a comparable field
• Open-minded, self-starter who can multi-task and prioritise in a fast-paced, unstructured environment
• Excellent oral and written English
• Cyber security certifications (CISSP, CISM, ISO 27001) are a plus
