Cyber Security Assurance Tech Lead

About the role

We are seeking a Cyber Security Assurance Tech Lead to drive penetration testing and security assurance across Vodafone’s digital landscape. The role will ensure the security posture of web, mobile, network, API and cloud assets while aligning with corporate cyber security policies.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and execute penetration testing engagements on web applications, mobile apps, networks, APIs and cloud environments.
• Support internal and third‑party testing activities, ensuring accurate execution and reporting.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and provide remediation recommendations to improve overall security.
• Validate secure implementation of new technologies, systems and infrastructure against Vodafone security standards.
• Perform ongoing security assurance on existing applications to maintain continuous compliance.
• Participate in security risk assessments for new projects and help mitigate identified risks early.
• Collaborate with technical teams and business stakeholders to track and remediate findings promptly.
• Review and validate penetration testing reports, delivering clear remediation guidance.
• Stay current with emerging threats, vulnerabilities and industry best practices.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading penetration testing and vulnerability assessment projects.
• Strong understanding of security standards and best practices for web, mobile, network and cloud environments.
• Ability to work closely with cross‑functional technical teams and external vendors.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills with a focus on continuous improvement.
