Cyber Security Compliance Tech Lead

About the role

Vodafone is seeking a Cyber Security Compliance Tech Lead to protect its mobile money services, including Vodafone Cash, and other fintech products. You will lead assessments, define security policies, and ensure robust risk management across the portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct regular cybersecurity assessments and audits for Vodafone Cash and related fintech solutions.
• Develop, implement, and maintain security policies, procedures, and controls tailored to mobile money services.
• Monitor, measure, and report on cybersecurity metrics and KPIs.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate cyber risks; design risk‑management frameworks and strategies.
• Perform threat and vulnerability assessments and enforce data‑protection measures such as encryption, access controls, and DLP.
• Evaluate third‑party vendor security posture and manage associated risks.
• Design and deliver cybersecurity awareness training for relevant employees.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years experience in fintech, specifically mobile money or payment systems.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, or a related field.
• Strong interpersonal, teamwork, and communication skills.
• Project reporting and management abilities are a plus.

Required skills

• Certifications: CISSP, CISM, CISA, ISO 27001.
• Deep knowledge of ISO 27001, PCI‑DSS, NIST Cybersecurity Framework.
• Proficiency with data‑encryption, access‑control, and DLP technologies.
• Experience with threat‑assessment and vulnerability‑assessment tools.
• Understanding of mobile network security and related vulnerabilities.
