Cybersecurity AI Engineer - Manager

About the role

PwC's Digital & Cyber Business Unit is hiring a manager for its Cybersecurity & Digital Trust advisory practice in Cairo. The role sits under cyber security leadership and works with clients through strategy-based transformation projects, helping them turn cyber and AI strategy into reality. It combines project and engagement management, business development and strategic leadership around AI-augmented cyber defense.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of AI-in-Cyber initiatives, from assessment and strategy to design, build and optimization of use cases, overseeing plans, budgets, risks, resources and quality.
• Drive business development: lead generation, solution design, demos, proofs of value, proposals, statements of work and contracting.
• Define enterprise strategies for AI-augmented cyber defense and set governance frameworks for responsible AI use in SOC and incident response.
• Develop and enforce policies for AI-assisted operations, covering data handling, access control, approvals, logging and human-in-the-loop reviews, aligned with NIST AI RMF, ISO/IEC 42001, ISO/IEC 23894, ENISA and OWASP LLM standards.
• Advise CISOs, SOC leaders and executives on AI-in-Cyber strategy and translate technical insights into business outcomes.
• Augment threat intelligence, hunting and incident response with AI copilots and agents, mapping TTPs to MITRE ATT&CK and turning intelligence into detections.
• Apply guardrails for secure AI use: data minimization, labeling, DLP, audit trails, content filtering, grounding checks and human validation, using private networks and encrypted keys.

Required profile

• Dynamic, flexible, proactive and hardworking consultant with a passion for shaping cybersecurity positively in the GCC.
• Ability to explain complex analytics and risks to non-technical stakeholders and executives.
• Experience building LLM/RAG applications integrated into SOC workflows, with comfort evaluating prompts and retrieval.

Required skills

• Strong Python and data engineering; Git-based CI/CD and testing.
• Hands-on expertise in one or more vendor tracks (Microsoft, Google, Palo Alto Networks).
• Knowledge of frameworks such as NIST AI RMF, ISO/IEC 42001/23894, ENISA AI Threat Landscape and OWASP LLM Top 10.
• Compliance with privacy and regional regulations including GDPR, CCPA, KSA SDAIA PDPL/NCA ECC and UAE TDRA/CSC.
