Cybersecurity Consultant (German-Speaking)

About the role

PwC is hiring a Senior Associate Cyber Risk Consultant in its Advisory practice in Cairo. The role advises clients on how to identify, assess and mitigate cybersecurity risks, working directly with them to build tailored risk management strategies. It is client-facing and requires fluency in both German and English to support German-speaking clients.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive risk assessments to identify cybersecurity vulnerabilities and threats.
• Advise clients on how to mitigate risks and strengthen their security posture.
• Develop and implement risk management frameworks, policies and strategies in line with industry standards and regulations.
• Perform gap analyses and advise on regulatory compliance (e.g. GDPR, ISO 27001, NIST).
• Work with clients to understand their challenges and deliver tailored solutions and strategic advice.
• Assist in developing incident response plans and business continuity strategies.
• Prepare and present reports, presentations and risk assessments to technical and non-technical stakeholders in German and English.
• Keep up to date with cybersecurity threats, trends and regulatory changes.
• Support clients in implementing cybersecurity tools and technologies, and run training and workshops on cyber risk management.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Computer Science, Business Administration or a related field.
• Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA or CRISC are a plus.
• Proven experience in cybersecurity risk consulting, including risk assessments and mitigation strategies.
• Ability to work independently and manage several client projects at once.
• Strong communication skills, able to explain complex technical topics to non-technical audiences.

Required skills

• Fluency in German and English (written and spoken).
• Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks, risk management methodologies and standards such as GDPR, ISO 27001 and NIST.
• Problem-solving and analytical skills.
