Data Architect - Senior Manager

About the role

PwC is looking for a seasoned Data Architect to lead the design and implementation of enterprise‑level data platforms. The role focuses on building scalable, secure, and high‑performance data architectures that support both transactional and analytical workloads across cloud and on‑premise environments.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the creation of flexible data models, data flow diagrams and integration architectures.
• Design and implement end‑to‑end data pipelines, including ingestion, storage, processing and analytics.
• Collaborate with cloud engineering and DevOps teams to deploy, monitor and optimise solutions on AWS, Azure and GCP.
• Ensure data governance, security and compliance are embedded in all architectural decisions.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior architects and data engineers.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of experience in data architecture and data platform design.
• Proven expertise with hyperscale cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Strong understanding of data governance, security and compliance frameworks.
• Experience delivering solutions for both structured and unstructured data.
