Data Engineer – Data Integration

About the role

IBM Consulting is seeking a Data Engineer specialized in Data Integration to design and build solutions that move data from operational and external sources into the business intelligence environment. You will work with leading companies, leveraging IBM and Red Hat technologies to enable seamless data flows that support analytics and decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Design data integration solutions using tools such as Informatica, Ab Initio, and DataStage.
• Develop, test, and maintain ETL processes to ensure reliable data movement throughout the BI lifecycle.
• Collaborate with business intelligence teams to support data‑driven initiatives.
• Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines to guarantee smooth data flow.

Required profile

• Hands‑on experience with data integration tools (Informatica, Ab Initio, DataStage).
• Proven ability to implement ETL processes in a business intelligence context.
• Familiarity with designing solutions that transfer data from operational and external environments.
• Experience working within a BI environment and supporting data‑integration solutions.
