Data Privacy Specialist

About the role

The Data Privacy Specialist will support the Global Solutions Privacy Officer in operationalising Majid Al Futtaim’s data protection framework across the organisation. You will help execute privacy assessments, manage data subject requests and ensure compliance with regional data protection laws such as the UAE PDPL, Egypt PDPL and GDPR.

Key responsibilities

• Provide guidance, documentation and templates to embed the data privacy framework.
• Conduct and document privacy impact assessments (DPIAs, IDPAs) and project‑based evaluations.
• Promote data privacy compliance and data‑ethics awareness across business functions.
• Maintain and improve privacy controls by coordinating with business areas and monitoring privacy risks.
• Manage end‑to‑end processing of data subject requests (access, deletion, correction, consent withdrawal).
• Perform vendor privacy risk assessments, review DPAs and TIAs, and ensure contractual privacy clauses.
• Operate privacy management platforms such as OneTrust and Securiti.ai.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in law, information systems/security or Business Administration (preferred).
• 1–3 years of experience in data privacy, compliance, legal, audit or related fields.
• Relevant certifications (CIPP/E, CIPP/M, CIPT) are a plus.
• 1–2 years of hands‑on experience with privacy management tools.
