Design Management Architect

About the role

Reporting to the Design Manager, the Design Management Architect will oversee day‑to‑day project activities for a leading real‑estate partner. The role ensures technical quality, schedule adherence, and budget compliance while coordinating internal and external stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate with Development Management and Controls teams during project preparation, scheduling, and specification acquisition.
• Assist in managing outsourced consultants/architects to develop innovative architectural concepts and designs.
• Prepare initial action plans, outline design schedules, and compile data for consultants from kickoff to completion.
• Produce analysis reports, technical studies, and area breakdowns for projects.
• Draft design management documents such as RFPs, TORs, and component breakdowns.
• Generate periodic design progress reports and support the review process with external consultants.
• Attend design progress meetings with consultants and suppliers as needed.
• Create graphic and narrative reports on project sites and land planning.
• Review design documents received from outsourced consultants in AutoCAD or Revit.
• Maintain design plan documents, finish schedules, specifications, and all project‑related documentation.
• Mentor junior architects, facilitating their integration and skill development.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in architectural engineering.
• 3‑5 years of experience in a similar role within real‑estate or construction.
• Strong command of English and excellent presentation abilities.
