Development Engineer

About the role

Electrolux Group is seeking a Development Engineer to join its 10th of Ramadan plant. The role focuses on designing mechanical components, managing engineering data, and driving product development within a global, matrix‑organized environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design new mechanical components using CAD tools, primarily Catia.
• Integrate mechanical components and subsystems across platforms and regional modules.
• Support MAB visualization and create overview files for module areas.
• Transfer regional components to global modules and release technical documentation in the PLM system (Teamcenter).
• Manage Engineering Change Requests (ECR), Engineering Change Notices (ECN) and article acceptance processes.
• Collect best practices and contribute to lessons‑learned activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or electrical engineering or equivalent.
• Strong understanding of engineering, manufacturing and assembly principles.
• Knowledge of quality tools such as DFMEA, PFMEA and tolerance analysis.
• Basic awareness of international approval rules.
• Ability to work in a global, cross‑functional matrix organization.
