DevOps Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to provide global IT integration, DevOps support, and automation expertise across a private cloud platform serving multiple Vodafone markets. The role focuses on delivering secure, reliable, production‑ready solutions that accelerate application delivery, ensure platform stability, and support the full application lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Integrate and implement DevOps tools to support scalable and reliable application delivery.
• Lead migration activities and upgrades to new platforms and tool releases.
• Manage services in line with agreed service levels, ensuring incidents are resolved within SLA.
• Implement and support containerisation and orchestration technologies, including Kubernetes and Docker.
• Maintain application and server availability across UNIX/Linux and Windows environments.
• Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure, application, and database‑related issues.
• Maintain accurate technical documentation and contribute to the team knowledge base.
• Collaborate with vendors and internal stakeholders to resolve complex technical challenges.
• Use existing monitoring, documentation, and service management tools to deliver effective support.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related discipline.
• Experience working on complex, multi‑disciplinary technical projects.
• Clear communication with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
• Ability to translate business requirements into practical technical solutions.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with a detail‑oriented approach.
