About the role

Sanofi is seeking a senior commercial leader to own the Diabetes and Cardio Metabolic portfolio in Egypt. The role drives long‑term commercial strategy, market share growth, and profitability while ensuring best‑in‑class experiences for healthcare professionals and patients.

Key responsibilities

• Define and achieve sales, profitability, and market‑share targets for the Diabetes and Cardio Metabolic portfolio.
• Develop and execute a business strategy aligned with Sanofi GenMed global and regional direction, enriched with local market insights.
• Build 3‑year business plans to maximize market share and Business Operating Income.
• Lead product launches, pre‑launch activities, and local business case development.
• Activate business intelligence and competitive monitoring to adapt strategy and identify growth opportunities.
• Design and implement integrated growth plans, brand activation plans, and patient‑segmentation pathways.
• Identify and mitigate local barriers to screening, diagnosis, and referral pathways.
• Contribute to the Pharma Egypt Leadership Team to shape competitive positioning and drive transformation.

Required profile

• Senior commercial leader with extensive experience in pharmaceutical sales, preferably in chronic disease therapeutic areas.
• Proven track record of delivering sales targets, market‑share growth, and P&L responsibility.
• Deep understanding of the Egyptian healthcare landscape and chronic disease management.
• Strong strategic thinking, commercial acumen, and ability to translate global strategy into local execution.
• Leadership skills to foster a high‑performance culture and develop talent.
