Digital Architect - Manager

About the role

PwC is hiring a Digital Architect Manager in its Advisory line of service, based in Cairo. People in integration and platform architecture design and implement seamless integration solutions and robust platform architectures for clients, enabling efficient data flow and optimising technology infrastructure. Solution architects analyse requirements and develop technical designs that enable the delivery of client solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead architecture assessments, maturity analyses and technology roadmaps for client digital ecosystems.
• Translate business and user experience goals into target architecture blueprints for omnichannel engagement.
• Design end-to-end architectures for digital channels including web, mobile apps, chatbots and social integrations.
• Define integration patterns across customer-facing systems, core platforms, middleware, APIs and cloud services.
• Develop architecture deliverables, high-level solution designs, integration diagrams, reference architectures and implementation guidelines.
• Provide technical leadership during delivery, ensuring alignment to architecture principles, performance and security standards.
• Advise clients on platform and vendor selection, define architecture standards and enforce governance.
• Ensure designs meet security, compliance and performance benchmarks, and support DevOps, CI/CD and agile delivery.

Required profile

• Egyptian citizenship with eligibility and willingness to travel and work internationally.
• 8-12 years of experience.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills in English, able to influence senior stakeholders.
• Preferred: experience in multinational environments, mentoring junior architects, and strategic thinking with hands-on delivery experience.

Required skills

• Front-end frameworks (React, Angular, Flutter), responsive design and UX best practices.
• Backend technologies such as .NET Core, Java (Spring Boot) or Node.js, with scalable microservices, RESTful APIs and secure integration.
• Agile delivery, DevOps and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong understanding of digital experience platforms, security, scalability and multi-channel performance.
