Digital Marketing Executive

About the role

This position sits at the intersection of paid search, SEO and lifecycle marketing for an established UK e‑commerce retailer. You will own day‑to‑day Google Ads execution, on‑site SEO improvements and email/WhatsApp campaign optimisation using Klaviyo or a similar platform, working closely with a small marketing team to seize seasonal opportunities and drive long‑term performance.

Key responsibilities

• Run daily Google Ads activity, including performance buckets and Performance Max campaigns, with seasonal adjustments.
• Update on‑site pages, fix internal linking, and refine naming conventions and product content across the site.
• Create blog content that drives quality SEO traffic and improves on‑site conversion rates.
• Clean and segment data in Klaviyo (or similar) and sharpen campaign and flow strategies for re‑engagement.
• Optimise on‑site sign‑up methods to grow the marketable audience and feed lifecycle programmes.
• Build and scale WhatsApp service journeys, then migrate engaged customers into sales‑driving campaigns.
• Align paid, organic and lifecycle activity to maximise sync between Klaviyo and WhatsApp.

Required profile

• Fluent English – excellent written and spoken communication.
• 6+ years managing Google Ads accounts with annual budgets above £300k.
• Proven track record of full‑funnel on‑site SEO programmes delivering measurable results.
• Strong working knowledge of Klaviyo or a comparable ESP (segmentation, flows, campaigns).
• Hands‑on experience running WhatsApp marketing journeys, ideally integrated with email.
• Analytical mindset – comfortable reading data, spotting trends and defining clear actions.
• Experience marketing for an online retailer or DTC brand with a real product catalogue.

What we offer

• Salary range £900‑£1100 per month (GBP), dependent on experience.
