Document Controller

About the role

We are looking for a meticulous Document Controller to join our food manufacturing team. In this role you will ensure that all production, quality, safety and regulatory documents are accurately maintained, up‑to‑date and readily available to support smooth operations and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and organise SOPs, work instructions, quality records and other manufacturing documents.
• Update and revise controlled documents in line with food safety standards and regulatory changes.
• Coordinate with production, quality, safety and other departments to collect, review and approve documentation.
• Administer the document control system, ensuring proper filing, version control and archiving.
• Support internal and external audits by providing complete and accurate documentation.
• Train staff on document control procedures and promote adherence to policies.

Required profile

• Proven experience in document control, preferably within food manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of food safety standards such as HACCP or ISO 22000.
• Excellent organisational skills with a keen eye for detail.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively across functions.
