Draftsman – Technical Drawings & Documentation

About the role

ecoSAS International is seeking a detail‑oriented Draftsman to join its engineering team in Giza. You will be responsible for producing accurate technical, shop and as‑built drawings that meet project specifications and company standards.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and revise 2D and 3D technical drawings, shop drawings, and as‑built drawings based on project requirements.
• Develop detailed layouts using AutoCAD and other drafting software.
• Coordinate with engineers, project managers and technical teams to ensure drawing accuracy and completeness.
• Update drawings to reflect project modifications and client requests.
• Maintain organized documentation and revision records for all drawings.
• Ensure compliance with company standards, specifications and relevant regulations.
• Support the back‑office team with technical documentation and project‑related tasks.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
• 2–5 years of experience as a Draftsman, preferably in construction, MEP, low‑current systems or infrastructure projects.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks to meet deadlines.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD and other drafting software.
• Good understanding of engineering drawings, standards and technical documentation.
• Experience preparing shop drawings and as‑built drawings.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications.
