Duty Manager – Front Office Operations

About the role

Join a GPTW Certified hotel in Cairo Maadi as a Duty Manager, overseeing the front office team and ensuring exceptional guest experiences. You will lead reception, bellmen, valet, concierge and other front‑office functions in a fast‑paced hospitality environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day activities of the front office department, including scheduling and coverage.
• Enforce hotel policies, communicate performance expectations and monitor staff compliance.
• Drive IHG Rewards Club, Ambassador enrolments and guest satisfaction metrics.
• Coordinate billing with Finance, oversee cash handling and ensure accurate deposits.
• Handle special requests for VIP, repeat and loyalty‑program guests.
• Participate in employee recognition programs and ensure staff have necessary tools and uniforms.
• Respond to guest comment cards, develop improvement strategies and support revenue‑maximising selling procedures.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years (36 months) of experience in front‑office or duty management within a hotel.
• Strong knowledge of hotel operations, guest service standards and revenue optimisation.
• Ability to train, motivate and evaluate staff while maintaining high service quality.
