Duty Manager – Hotel Operations

About the role

Join the Waldorf Astoria Cairo Heliopolis team as a Duty Manager, responsible for overseeing daily hotel operations in the absence of the General Manager. You will ensure exceptional guest experiences, maintain service standards, and support a high‑performing team across all departments.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily hotel operations, including front desk, staffing, room inventory, guest service, and policy compliance.
• Deliver friendly, prompt guest service, handling inquiries and resolving issues efficiently.
• Provide operational support across departments such as bell service or front desk during peak periods.
• Conduct property walkthroughs to monitor safety, security and service quality, addressing any concerns.
• Communicate updates and train staff on hotel offerings, services and local attractions.
• Track guest satisfaction metrics (e.g., SALT, Revinate), analyze trends and implement improvements.
• Supervise, coach and develop team members, monitoring performance and fostering a positive work environment.

Required profile

• Previous experience in front office hospitality operations.
• At least 1–2 years in a supervisory or assistant management role.
• Experience in luxury or upscale hotel brands is strongly preferred.
• Strong understanding of hotel operations and guest experience management in luxury settings.
• Demonstrated leadership, integrity, teamwork and ownership values.

Required skills

• Familiarity with guest satisfaction platforms such as SALT.
• Experience using Revinate for guest feedback analysis.
