E-Commerce Content Specialist

About the role

The E-Commerce Content Specialist will create, manage and optimise product content across online platforms, ensuring food and beverage items are presented compellingly to drive conversions. This role blends digital marketing insight with a strong understanding of consumer behaviour in the e‑commerce environment.

Key responsibilities

• Write, upload and maintain accurate product titles, descriptions and attributes for the Spinneys app, website and aggregator platforms such as Talabat and Instashop.
• Collaborate with category and commercial teams to prioritise new item uploads and updates.
• Optimise product content for SEO/ASO to improve discoverability and conversion rates.
• Coordinate with design and photography teams to ensure high‑quality, on‑brand visuals and manage placement of banners, hero tiles and seasonal assets.
• Align content with promotional calendars, ensuring data accuracy across ERP, Magento and aggregator systems.
• Audit listings regularly, monitor performance metrics (CTR, conversion, bounce rate) and recommend improvements.
• Stay current on UX trends and propose new formats such as videos or how‑to visuals.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or a related field (preferred).
• Minimum 2 years of experience in retail, with a focus on e‑commerce content management.
• Strong analytical ability to interpret sales data and market trends.
• Excellent communication and customer‑service skills.
• Organisational and problem‑solving capabilities.
