Early Years Academic Director (EYFS) – Remote

About the role

Stanford Nursery is looking for an experienced Early Years Academic Director to lead the academic framework across all nursery branches remotely. You will drive curriculum excellence, uphold EYFS standards, and support teaching teams to deliver outstanding learning outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and continuously improve the British EYFS curriculum across all locations.
• Develop annual, termly and weekly curriculum plans and guide teachers in their execution.
• Standardise academic policies, procedures and teaching guidelines.
• Monitor curriculum delivery through digital quality‑assurance systems, performance reviews and occasional branch visits.
• Analyse academic data, produce reports and design measurable improvement plans.
• Lead CPD programmes and teacher training initiatives.

Required profile

• Previous experience as an Early Years Academic Director, Head of Curriculum, EYFS Coordinator or Academic Quality Manager.
• Familiarity with British early‑years standards such as EYFS, Ofsted or CACHE.
• Proven ability to lead and manage distributed or remote educational teams.
• Experience in British international nurseries or schools.
