Early Years Teacher – International Nursery

About the role

This full‑time, on‑site position is for an Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Teacher at an international nursery in Heliopolis. You will create a nurturing learning environment and deliver age‑appropriate lessons that follow the EYFS curriculum, supporting the holistic development of young children.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and deliver engaging EYFS‑aligned lessons.
• Create a safe, nurturing classroom atmosphere that encourages curiosity.
• Design, implement and assess a variety of activities, including storytelling, art, play‑based learning and appropriate technology use.
• Observe, document and evaluate each child’s progress, maintaining accurate records.
• Communicate regularly with parents and caregivers about children’s development.
• Collaborate with fellow teachers to ensure a cohesive educational experience.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of child development principles and EYFS framework.
• Excellent communication, active listening and interpersonal abilities.
• Experience using creative teaching approaches such as storytelling, art, play‑based learning and technology.
• Highly organized with attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a busy classroom.
• Relevant early‑childhood teaching certification; a Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• Prior experience in an early years educational setting is highly desirable.
• Passionate, nurturing and patient attitude toward young learners.
• Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
