E‑commerce Operations Manager

About the role

The E‑commerce Operations Manager will lead the day‑to‑day execution of Majid Al Futtaim Retail’s online fulfilment activities, ensuring orders are picked, marshalled and dispatched efficiently. The role bridges the dark‑store operations, logistics partners and the commercial and IT teams to deliver a seamless online shopping experience.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily e‑commerce fulfilment operations, including picking, dispatch and last‑mile delivery.
• Lead and motivate picking, dispatch and last‑mile teams to meet performance targets.
• Manage third‑party logistics (3P) delivery service providers.
• Ensure optimal layout and stock adequacy within the dark store.
• Coordinate closely with commercial and IT departments.
• Monitor production KPIs such as picking rate and drive continuous improvement.
• Maintain compliance with Majid Al Futtaim Retail policies.
• Identify and resolve logistics, operations and system process challenges.
• Plan capacity requirements (materials, assets, staff) for fulfilment activities.
• Guarantee daily ordering processes and sufficient stock availability.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in E‑commerce, Business Administration or related field.
• 5–7 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, e‑commerce fulfilment or last‑mile operations.
• Commercial knowledge is a plus.
• Proven ability to build and lead teams in a fast‑paced environment.
