About the role

CACTUS is looking for a subject‑matter editor to support researchers publishing cutting‑edge work in physical and sports medicine. You will combine strong English language skills with scientific expertise to ensure manuscripts meet the standards of top‑tier journals.

Key responsibilities

Edit manuscripts so the final text is clear, idiomatic scientific English.
Follow job‑specific guidelines and format papers according to target journal requirements.
Verify that all subject‑specific conventions and terminology are correctly applied.

Required profile

PhD, Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in a relevant subject area (e.g., physical medicine, sports science).
Excellent English proficiency with strong attention to detail.
Prior experience in scientific or medical editing is a plus.
