Education Project Manager (Cairo)

About the role

The British Council is seeking an Education Project Manager to lead low‑complexity education projects funded by the Council or other partners. Based in Cairo, you will work in a hybrid model, spending three days per week in the office and delivering projects from start to finish.

Key responsibilities

• Manage relationships with delivery partners, suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Oversee commercial and financial planning, monthly forecasting and SAP reporting.
• Develop and execute project management plans, identify risks and implement mitigation strategies.
• Ensure compliance with contractual and reporting requirements.
• Handle procurement activities and maintain accurate project data.
• Support business development by building professional networks and analysing pipeline opportunities.

Required profile

• Legal right to work in Egypt.
• Experience delivering education‑related projects of low complexity.
• Strong stakeholder‑management and financial‑planning capabilities.
• Ability to work onsite three days a week in a hybrid setting.

Required skills

• SAP (financial and reporting modules)
