Electrical Maintenance Engineer

About the role

Unipro for Contracting & Trading Co. is seeking a full‑time Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join its on‑site team in Alexandria. You will be responsible for maintaining the reliability and safety of electrical systems within MEP projects for residential, commercial and industrial facilities.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections, testing and preventive maintenance of all electrical equipment.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical faults, coordinate corrective actions and document all activities.
• Support commissioning of new electrical installations and ensure compliance with local codes and safety standards.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary project teams to optimise equipment performance and drive continuous‑improvement of maintenance procedures.

Required profile

• Degree or technical diploma in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience in electrical maintenance and maintenance engineering, preferably in MEP or building‑services environments.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities, attention to detail and strict adherence to safety practices.
• Ability to work on‑site in Alexandria and manage time effectively within multidisciplinary teams.

Required skills

• Interpretation of electrical drawings and schematics.
• Use of diagnostic tools for fault detection.
• Planning, scheduling and documenting preventive maintenance activities.
• Troubleshooting and repairing electrical systems and circuits.
• Knowledge of relevant electrical codes and safety regulations.
