Electrical Maintenance Engineer – Tissue Mill

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join our tissue mill operations in 10th of Ramadan City. The role focuses on ensuring the reliability and efficiency of production equipment through proactive maintenance and rapid troubleshooting.

Key responsibilities

• Perform daily maintenance activities to keep production equipment running smoothly.
• Develop and execute scheduled maintenance plans ranging from daily checks to annual overhauls.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and spare‑parts inventory using SAP.
• Ensure all equipment manuals are up‑to‑date and readily available.
• Train team members on equipment operation, diagnostics, and repair procedures.
• Coordinate with the supply chain to procure required spare parts.
• Analyse equipment failures, lead root‑cause investigations and drive corrective actions.
• Work closely with the Operations Manager on maintenance planning and budgeting.
• Supervise preventive‑maintenance activities and manage external service contracts.
• Allocate tasks to electrical and automation teams and monitor progress.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of experience in FMCG environments, preferably paper or tissue mills.
• Strong leadership and team‑management abilities.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Excellent command of English and solid computer literacy.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Siemens PCS7, Siemens PLC and SCADA systems.
• Experience with Siemens SINAMICS multidrive systems and TIA Portal.
• Knowledge of Siemens Drives (SINAMICS) and automation control.
• Familiarity with Allen‑Bradley PLCs, servo drives and instrumentation.
• Understanding of control valves, Barnes and boiler systems.
• Hands‑on experience with SAP for maintenance documentation.
