Electrical Maintenance Section Head

About the role

The company, a leading manufacturer of integrated home plumbing solutions, is seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Section Head to lead its maintenance team in 6th of October City. You will be responsible for ensuring reliable operation of all electrical equipment while driving continuous improvement in maintenance processes.

Key responsibilities

• Enforce 5S standards and occupational health & safety, and follow up on internal audit findings.
• Monitor daily preventive, corrective, project and installation maintenance activities together with engineers and supervisors.
• Create backups of machine operating programs and design electrical loads and panels for new equipment.
• Develop and implement predictive maintenance plans and machine condition monitoring.
• Track departmental KPIs and maintain strategic spare‑part inventories.
• Place purchase orders for strategic parts above 10,000 EGP and manage inventory limits.
• Write work instructions for failure coding and corrective maintenance, ensuring technician compliance.
• Conduct ISO standard reviews and support specification development for new machines.
• Prepare monthly reports on spare‑part consumption and maintenance costs.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• More than 10 years of experience in electrical maintenance, preferably in an industrial setting.
• Strong interpersonal, problem‑solving and leadership abilities.

• Reliability‑Centered Maintenance (RCM).
• Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA).
• Maintenance Management System (MMS) knowledge.
• Modern automation concepts.
• Variable Speed Drive (VSD) systems and variable speed drives.
• Electrical power systems and protection equipment.
