Electrical Project Engineer

About the role

We are looking for an Electrical Project Engineer to design, develop and implement electrical systems for food and beverage processing equipment. The role combines technical design, project coordination and quality analysis to ensure solutions meet customer requirements and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop electrical engineering solutions for food and beverage processing equipment.
• Lead and coordinate electrical projects from concept through completion, ensuring adherence to specifications and timelines.
• Conduct feasibility studies and technical assessments for electrical installations and upgrades.
• Collaborate with project managers, mechanical engineers and manufacturing staff to optimise production workflows.
• Prepare project documentation, including scopes of work, technical drawings and compliance reports.
• Manage supplier relationships and oversee procurement of electrical components and systems.
• Perform site visits to assess installation and maintenance requirements.
• Ensure all electrical work complies with industry standards, safety regulations and company policies.
• Develop manufacturing processes in line with global engineering codes and standards.
• Define customer needs and ensure installations meet those requirements and safety standards.
• Perform quality and performance analysis on new and legacy IT systems, summarise data and report test results.
• Assess needs for new equipment, calculate costs and assist in budget preparation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 5 to 8 years of experience in project management within retail, construction or facility management sectors.
• PMP certification is a plus.
• Excellent command of English.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
