Electrical Site Engineer – Ras El Hekma

About the role

The Electrical Site Engineer will lead the installation, testing and commissioning of all electrical systems on a construction site in Ras El Hekma. You will ensure that work is carried out safely, on schedule and in full compliance with design specifications and local codes.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise installation, testing and commissioning of lighting, power distribution, fire alarm, grounding and related systems.
• Review electrical drawings, specifications and project documents to verify correct implementation.
• Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors and other disciplines (civil, mechanical) to avoid conflicts.
• Monitor daily site activities, track progress against the project schedule and prepare regular progress reports.
• Conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with quality and safety standards.
• Verify material quantities, prepare requisitions and maintain accurate site records.
• Document electrical work, test results and as‑built changes, and support hand‑over to the consultant.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 1 year of on‑site execution experience in construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, drawings and local electrical codes.
• Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines and maintain high attention to detail.

Required skills

• AutoCAD
• Microsoft Office
• Electrical design software such as ETAP (Dialux is a plus)
• Familiarity with NEC and IEC standards
