Electronic Technician II

About the role

Halliburton is seeking an Electronic Technician II to perform preventive and predictive maintenance, as well as repair of electronic and electrical equipment at our Cairo location. The role involves troubleshooting, testing, and ensuring equipment readiness while adhering to Halliburton’s safety and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on a variety of electronic/electrical equipment.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment issues using intermediate technical knowledge.
• Conduct advanced testing to verify equipment readiness after maintenance.
• Read and interpret electronic and electrical schematics, drawings, and prints.
• Utilize Halliburton‑specific software and hardware for maintenance activities.
• Enter and maintain accurate data in the Halliburton Management System (HMS).
• Identify parts and conduct system searches to procure correct spares.
• Mentor junior staff and ensure work is performed safely, efficiently, and effectively.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent; 3+ years of experience in electrical/electronic maintenance.
• Technical certification or associate degree in an electrical field is preferred.
• Ability to work under general supervision while following detailed HMS processes.
• Commitment to safety and quality standards.
