About the role

Westview International Language School is looking for a dedicated Elementary Homeroom Teacher to join its team beginning August 2026. The successful candidate will create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that inspires young learners to achieve their full potential.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, deliver, and assess engaging lessons for elementary‑stage students.
• Manage classroom behavior and provide pastoral care.
• Communicate regularly with parents, colleagues, and school leadership.
• Monitor student progress and adapt teaching strategies accordingly.
• Uphold safeguarding policies and ensure student welfare at all times.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field.
• Relevant teaching qualification or certification (preferred).
• Previous experience as a homeroom teacher in the elementary stage (preferred).
• Strong understanding of child development and classroom management.
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative attitude.

Required skills

• Knowledge of elementary curriculum standards.
• Ability to create lesson plans that cater to diverse learning needs.
• Proficiency in classroom management techniques.
