Elementary Math Teacher – Lower & Upper Grades

About the role

Palm International School is seeking enthusiastic lower and upper elementary Math teachers to join its full‑time, on‑site team in Cairo. The successful candidates will deliver engaging mathematics instruction that aligns with the American curriculum, Montessori principles, and STEAM learning approaches.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver daily mathematics lessons for lower and upper elementary classes, integrating Montessori methods and STEAM project‑based activities.
• Assess student progress, provide constructive feedback, and adapt instruction to meet diverse learning needs.
• Maintain a safe, inclusive classroom environment and manage routine procedures.
• Collaborate with fellow teachers on interdisciplinary projects and school initiatives.
• Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student development.
• Participate in professional development sessions, staff meetings, and school events.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field; teaching certification or license preferred.
• Experience teaching elementary grades, preferably in an international or bilingual school.
• Strong understanding of the Montessori Method and willingness to integrate its principles.
• Familiarity with STEAM education and ability to incorporate hands‑on, project‑based learning.
• Excellent classroom management, differentiated instruction, and communication skills.
• Commitment to inclusive, non‑discriminatory practices and ongoing professional growth.
