Emerging Technology Services Engineer

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Emerging Technology Services Engineer to lead innovation initiatives, evaluate new technologies, and build proof‑of‑concepts that drive business transformation. The role requires hands‑on expertise in AI/ML, cloud‑native platforms, and automation to translate emerging ideas into scalable solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Research, evaluate, and implement emerging technologies to solve business and technical challenges.
• Design, develop, and deliver AI/ML proof‑of‑concepts, including model development, evaluation, and deployment.
• Build cloud‑native, scalable, resilient, and secure solutions on AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Create automation and orchestration workflows using modern enterprise tools, scripting, and Infrastructure as Code.
• Collaborate with engineering, architecture, product, and business teams to identify innovation opportunities.
• Assess technology trends and recommend adoption strategies aligned with organizational goals.
• Develop prototypes and pilot projects to demonstrate business value.
• Document solution architectures, technical findings, and best practices.
• Mentor technical teams on emerging technologies and participate in architecture reviews and governance.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 6–11 years of professional experience in software engineering, cloud technologies, AI/ML, or emerging‑technology initiatives.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and solution‑design capabilities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.

Required skills

• Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning (including generative AI and large language models).
• Hands‑on AI/ML proof‑of‑concept development and model deployment.
• Cloud platforms: AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Cloud‑native development: microservices, containers, Kubernetes.
• Automation and orchestration using enterprise tools and scripting frameworks.
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC) concepts.
