Engineering Manager

About the role

EVA Pharma, a pharmaceutical company dedicated to improving health and well-being, is looking for an Engineering Manager in its Operations Business Division. The role leads maintenance, equipment reliability, engineering projects and the engineering team.

Key responsibilities

• Lead maintenance and equipment reliability: manage preventive and corrective maintenance, optimise equipment performance and minimise downtime.
• Oversee engineering projects and new installations: manage new equipment installation, carry out FAT/SAT testing and deliver projects on time, within budget and to quality and safety standards.
• Plan shutdowns and spare parts management: develop shutdown plans, supervise major maintenance activities and maintain critical spare parts inventory.
• Ensure compliance and operational excellence: implement ISO requirements, follow maintenance SOPs and support production quality.
• Develop the engineering team: train and coach maintenance staff, build succession plans and improve team capabilities.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical).
• 13+ years of experience, including at least 4 years in a similar position.
• 3+ years in a managerial leadership role.
• PMP or MBA is a plus.
