English Instructor

About the role

The English & Scientific Method Department seeks a dedicated English Instructor to deliver high‑quality instruction to undergraduate students. You will play a key part in preparing students for postgraduate studies and the job market by fostering critical thinking, academic writing, and research skills.

Key responsibilities

• Teach 24 hours per week across designated English courses
• Provide timely feedback on assignments and assess quizzes and exams
• Enter attendance and grades into the university system promptly
• Develop supplementary teaching materials and resources
• Participate in inter‑rater reliability and professional development workshops
• Contribute to departmental research initiatives
• Supervise student activities and serve on departmental committees
• Assist with admissions, placement processes, and related administrative tasks

Required profile

• BA in TEFL/TESL or English Language
• Minimum two years of teaching experience, preferably at university level
• Native‑level English proficiency
• Experience working in a multicultural environment
• Strong commitment, responsibility, and ability to meet deadlines
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends if needed
