English Instructor Trainer

About the role

The American Egyptian Academy is seeking an experienced English Instructor Trainer to join its Academic Team in Cairo. You will be responsible for onboarding new English instructors, enhancing teaching quality, and ensuring alignment with the academy’s academic standards.

Key responsibilities

• Train and onboard newly hired English instructors.
• Conduct teaching demonstrations and assess instructor performance.
• Observe classroom sessions and provide coaching and feedback.
• Support instructors in methodology, lesson delivery, and classroom management.
• Design and deliver professional development workshops.
• Monitor teaching quality and ensure compliance with academic standards.

Required profile

• Advanced proficiency in English.
• Minimum 3 years of experience as an English instructor.
• Proven experience training, coaching, or developing English instructors in language academies or educational institutions.
• Strong knowledge of teaching methodologies and classroom management.
• Experience conducting classroom observations and instructor evaluations.
• Relevant certifications such as CELTA, DELTA, TESOL, or Train the Trainer are a plus.
• Preferred background includes roles like Teacher Trainer, Academic Supervisor, or Senior English Instructor with training responsibilities.
