English Language Instructor (Full-time, Cairo)

About the role

The English Language Instructor will join Guide Academy in Cairo to design and deliver engaging English lessons for learners of varying proficiency levels. This full-time, on-site position focuses on developing speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills in a learner-centered environment.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and prepare lesson content, teaching materials, and classroom activities.
• Deliver interactive English lessons covering speaking, listening, reading, and writing.
• Assess learner progress, provide constructive feedback, and support individual development.
• Maintain accurate attendance and performance records.
• Contribute to curriculum development and continuous improvement of teaching methods.
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance instructional quality and learning outcomes.

Required profile

• Strong instructional skills in English language teaching, adaptable to different proficiency levels.
• Background in education with understanding of learning outcomes, assessment, and curriculum implementation.
• Bachelor’s degree in English, Education, Linguistics or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Relevant teaching certification (e.g., TEFL, TESOL, CELTA) highly preferred.
• Excellent command of spoken and written English and effective communication abilities.
• Ability to manage a classroom, foster engagement, and support diverse learning needs.
• Strong organizational skills, reliability, and commitment to continuous professional development.
