English Language Instructor

About the role

SYE English Community is seeking an enthusiastic English Language Instructor to join its on‑site team in Giza. The instructor will deliver engaging, learner‑centered English lessons to groups and individuals, following SYE’s immersive curriculum.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and deliver interactive English lessons for various proficiency levels.
• Facilitate speaking activities, discussions and real‑life language practice.
• Monitor learner progress, assess needs and provide constructive feedback.
• Maintain accurate attendance and progress records.
• Collaborate with fellow instructors to enhance the learning community.

Required profile

• Strong instructional abilities in English teaching and classroom management.
• Background in education, lesson planning and learner assessment.
• Excellent written and spoken English (near‑native or C1/C2 level).
• Prior experience teaching English to young adults or adults.
• Availability to work evenings or weekends on‑site in Giza.
• Bachelor’s degree in English, Education, Linguistics or related field; TEFL/TESOL/CELTA preferred.
