English Second Language Instructor – Full‑time, Giza

About the role

SYE English Community is seeking a full‑time English Second Language Instructor to join its on‑site team in Giza. You will design and deliver interactive, learner‑centered English lessons for students of varying proficiency levels, helping them achieve academic, professional, and personal goals.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and adapt lesson plans and teaching materials for diverse learner groups.
• Deliver communicative English classes using learner‑centered methodologies.
• Assess learner progress, provide constructive feedback, and maintain records.
• Contribute to curriculum development and continuous improvement of teaching resources.
• Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and community activities.
• Offer tutoring, workshops, and support activities to enhance learner confidence.

Required profile

• Strong command of spoken and written English.
• Experience teaching English as a foreign language (ESL/EFL).
• Background in linguistics, applied language studies, or related fields.
• Ability to manage classroom dynamics and engage diverse learners.
• Cultural sensitivity and commitment to an inclusive learning environment.
• Organizational reliability and a focus on professional development.

Required skills

• TEFL, TESOL, CELTA or equivalent teaching certification (highly preferred).
• Curriculum development and lesson‑planning expertise.
• Knowledge of grammar, vocabulary, and pronunciation instruction.
