Environmental, Health & Safety Coordinator – Rolling Stock

About the role

Siemens Mobility is seeking an Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Coordinator to join its Rolling Stock team in Egypt. You will support one of the country’s first high‑speed rail projects, ensuring that all work sites meet the highest safety and environmental standards.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and monitor HSE procedures across Rolling Stock worksites.
• Support contractors and subcontractors in maintaining safety standards.
• Supervise activities to ensure compliance with Egyptian law and international standards.
• Align with consortium and contractor HSE requirements.
• Conduct risk assessments and review safe systems of work.
• Ensure site personnel are trained, authorized, and competent.
• Lead weekly toolbox talks and promote a culture of safety.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of proven experience in the EHS field.
• Environmental certification such as OSHA, IOSH, NEBOSH or OFQUAL.
• Experience with lifting operations and auditing.
• Strong project‑management mindset with proven delivery capabilities.
• Full professional proficiency in English and Arabic; German is a plus.
