ETIC AI Architect - Director

About the role

PwC is hiring a Director (D) for AI & Intelligent Automation in its Advisory practice in Cairo. The role defines and executes the enterprise strategy for artificial intelligence, machine learning and automation across business domains, blending technical expertise, strategic leadership and commercial acumen. It partners with C-suite executives, technology leaders and global delivery teams to embed AI at scale.

Key responsibilities

• Define the global AI and intelligent automation strategy and set up technical governance for AI ethics, model transparency and responsible AI
• Deliver intelligent, agentic solutions using frameworks such as Semantic Kernel, LangGraph, CrewAI, LangChain, AutoGen and LlamaIndex, with a focus on orchestration and multi-agent collaboration
• Integrate large language models from multiple providers (Azure OpenAI, Amazon Bedrock, Vertex AI) and implement RAG architectures with vector databases
• Lead the data estate using Databricks, Snowflake, Azure Synapse, AWS Glue/Redshift and BigQuery, and oversee data engineering with Apache Airflow, dbt and Prefect under Collibra, Alation and Microsoft Purview
• Champion multi-cloud architecture (Azure, AWS, GCP) and MLOps with Azure ML, SageMaker, Vertex AI, MLflow and Kubeflow
• Drive intelligent automation with Power Automate, Blue Prism and Automation Anywhere, and integrate cognitive services such as Azure Cognitive Services, AWS Comprehend and Form Recognizer
• Lead process mining and optimization with Celonis, Power BI Process Mining and ProcessGold
• Ensure compliance with SOC2, ISO27001 and NIST, and manage identity and access via Azure AD, OAuth2 and OpenID Connect
• Build and lead global teams in data science, engineering and automation, and engage with academic institutions, hyperscalers and startups

Required profile

• Demonstrable experience delivering enterprise AI, data and automation transformations
• Proven record integrating Python-based AI with .NET enterprise systems
• Deep expertise in multi-cloud environments, data governance and enterprise DevSecOps
• Ability to deliver large-scale transformation programs with measurable ROI
• Strong executive presence, communication and stakeholder management skills
