Executive Sales Representative

About the role

The Executive Sales Representative acts as the primary contact for guests and internal departments, handling calls, requests and problems while applying sales techniques to maximise revenue and maintain guest loyalty. The role also involves promoting the Marriott brand, processing rewards, and supporting the Sales & Marketing team with general office duties.

Key responsibilities

• Resolve guest calls, requests, and problems by contacting the appropriate individual or department.
• Apply sales techniques, including up‑selling, to maximise revenue and maintain loyalty.
• Determine and provide complimentary gifts such as reward points, show tickets or gift certificates.
• Promote internal and external awareness of the Marriott brand.
• Process Marriott Rewards point redemptions and enter reservation information into the system.
• Handle reservation requests, changes and cancellations received by phone, fax or mail.
• Perform general office duties for Sales & Marketing (filing, emailing, typing, faxing).
• Assist management in training and motivating employees, serving as a role model.
• Welcome and acknowledge guests, anticipate service needs and communicate professionally.
• Develop and maintain positive working relationships and monitor performance to ensure quality standards.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• At least 2 years of related work experience.
• No supervisory experience required.
• No specific license or certification required.
