Experienced Iraqi Trainer for Oil & Gas Projects

About the role

We are expanding our Iraqi trainer network for a large‑scale oil & gas training programme in Erbil. The role involves delivering classroom‑based courses to industry professionals across a range of technical specialisations.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver training modules in the assigned specialisation area.
• Prepare training materials, presentations and assessments.
• Facilitate interactive classroom sessions and evaluate participant performance.
• Ensure training complies with safety and quality standards.
• Provide post‑training support and feedback to the project team.

Required profile

• Iraqi nationality or currently residing in Iraq.
• Proven experience delivering professional training in oil & gas, industrial, construction or technical environments.
• Ability to conduct sessions in English; Arabic is an advantage.
• Strong presentation, facilitation and assessment capabilities.
• Availability for onsite training in Erbil.

Required skills

• Sequence stratigraphy and subsurface analysis.
• Project budgeting, cost estimation and logistics planning.
• Civil construction, QA/QC and facilities handover.
• Pipeline hot tapping, plugging and mechanical maintenance.
• Welding, cutting, brazing and hot‑work safety.
• Oil production, processing and crude treatment operations.
• Accounting, finance, procurement and supply‑chain controls.
• HR performance management, leadership and business protocol.
• Security incident management and investigation techniques.
• HVAC risk assessment, maintenance and reliability.
