Export Sales Manager

About the role

The Export Sales Manager will lead the growth of export sales for frozen potato products within the Food & Beverages sector, overseeing market development, distributor relationships and end‑to‑end export operations.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve export revenue targets for assigned international markets through strategic planning and execution.
• Identify, onboard and develop new distributors and customers to expand market presence.
• Conduct market and competitor analysis to optimise pricing, positioning and product offering.
• Manage existing distributor relationships, conduct regular business reviews and resolve inquiries.
• Supervise export order processing, documentation, and coordinate with production, logistics and freight forwarders to ensure on‑time delivery and cost control.
• Represent the company at international trade fairs and collaborate with marketing to create region‑specific promotional materials.
• Prepare sales forecasts, pricing reviews and performance reports for senior management.

Required profile

• 7–10 years of export sales experience in FMCG or frozen food manufacturing (potatoes, vegetables, ready‑to‑cook).
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, International Trade, Food Science or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
• Strong knowledge of cold‑chain logistics, Incoterms (CIF, FOB, EXW) and labeling regulations (EU, FDA).
• Experience with private‑label programmes and export documentation requirements.
• Fluency in English; additional languages such as French, Spanish or German are a plus.
• Willingness to travel internationally on a regular basis.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
• Experience with Salesforce CRM.
• Experience with Oracle ERP platforms.
• Knowledge of Incoterms (CIF, FOB, EXW).
• Understanding of cold‑chain logistics and international labeling regulations.
