External Maintenance Engineer

About the role

We are seeking an External Maintenance Engineer to join our team at our head office in Obour City, Egypt. The role involves travelling to customer sites and fuel stations to deliver high‑quality maintenance, installation and commissioning services.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise maintenance, installation and commissioning activities at customer sites and fuel stations.
• Respond promptly to technical issues and emergency breakdowns.
• Diagnose equipment failures and implement corrective actions.
• Prepare technical service and maintenance reports.
• Monitor spare‑parts usage and manage inventory requirements.
• Coordinate and supervise field service teams across multiple locations.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality and operational standards.
• Maintain effective communication with customers and after‑sales teams.
• Support continuous‑improvement initiatives to boost equipment reliability.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• 3‑5 years of field maintenance experience, preferably with fuel stations, pumps and mechanical systems.
• Experience supervising field teams is an advantage.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and customer‑service skills.
• Willingness to travel regularly between sites.
