EYFS English Teacher – Nursery (Heliopolis)

About the role

The EYFS English Teacher will create a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment for toddlers in an on‑site nursery in Heliopolis. This full‑time position involves planning and delivering age‑appropriate activities that support early childhood development while fostering social, emotional and cognitive growth.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and implement daily learning and play activities aligned with EYFS principles.
• Supervise children throughout the day, including playtime, meals, rest periods and learning sessions.
• Observe, document and report each child’s progress and milestones.
• Maintain a clean, organized and hygienic classroom that complies with health, safety and safeguarding policies.
• Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about their child’s development and daily experiences.
• Collaborate with fellow staff to ensure consistent educational standards and care.

Required profile

• Proven experience working with toddlers or in a nursery/preschool setting.
• Knowledge of child development principles and ability to design play‑based learning activities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for building relationships with children, families and team members.
• Patience, empathy and a nurturing approach to managing toddler behaviour and emotional needs.
• Ability to work on‑site full‑time in Heliopolis and collaborate within a multidisciplinary team.
• Relevant education in Early Childhood Education or related field; additional certifications are a plus.
• Fluency in English is mandatory.
