Failure Analysis Engineer

About the role

The Failure Analysis Engineer will lead the initial analysis of returned malfunctioning units after new product launches, work closely with R&D to verify problems, and monitor the effectiveness of implemented solutions. The role also involves handling market complaints and driving product improvements for the North African region.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse the first 100 returned units after a product launch and coordinate verification with R&D.
• Monitor and issue early warnings for common abnormal issues, promoting R&D improvements.
• Handle online and offline market complaints, close the loop on issues, and produce visit reports.
• Conduct preliminary failure data analysis, extract common problems and suggest improvements.
• Explore market‑specific issues and drive demand for localized products.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in electronics or a related field.
• More than 2 years of experience in electronic product repair.
• Good oral and written English communication skills.

Required skills

• Circuit principle analysis.
• Operation of electronic analysis equipment such as multimeters, soldering irons, hot‑air guns.
• Use of network comprehensive testers.
